FIVE DECADES, SIXTY YEARS, TIME OF SEVENTY YEARS
Sculptor Mária Cyranski and artist, graphic artist Károly Koffán Jr. greet Dunaújváros with the joint exhibition of their works and at the same time Dunaújváros welcomes the two seventy-year-old artists by organizing the exhibition.
Although the relationship between the married couple Mária Cyranski -Károly Koffán Jr. and the town has not been so close in the recent twenty-five years as before, we can say that the Dunaújváros-related creative period between 1965 and 1986 is still active and decisively important in the career and oeuvre of the two artists. It was here where they started their work after the college years, where they formed the characteristic features of their art, where they created the works that form the base of their oeuvre and even after the 1980s with their works and exhibition collections they often returned to the scene where they started their career.
