Admission

Programs and exhibitions are usually admission-free. If not, the responsible organizer of the certain program always indicates this on the web site at the given program and also on leaflets with the exact amount to be paid.

Discounts:

Visitors entitled to 50% discount:

• Hungarian and European Community citizens between 6 and 26 years
• Hungarian and European Community citizens between 62 and 70 of age

Visitors entitled to free admission:
(free tickets can be obtained at the reception of the Institute of Contemporary Art)

• Children under 6 years
• Visitors with disabilities accompanied by a caregiver (1 attendant per person)
• European Community citizens over 70 years
• Teachers working in the public sector, professors working in higher education, professionals in public collections and in public cultural-educational institutions, with European Community citizenship
• For the permanent exhibition, pre-registered groups of young adults under 26 years, for organized trainings, with European Community citizenship
• Every visitor on a specially selected, advertised day
• Journalists: (members of AICA, MÚOSZ; international press pass holders)
• Visitors with ICOM, CIMAM, ICCROM, AICA, IKT pass
• People with MAOE (Fine Art Fund) and FKSE (Young Fine Artists’ Studio Society) card and members of the Újpart Association
• Pupils and students of secondary and higher education institutions specialized in arts, which have valid collaboration agreements with the museum – with pupil and student cards
• Friends of the Institute of Contemporary Art with a valid membership card
• Participants of special professional events and programs organized by the Institute of Contemporary Art

Guided tours:

For groups of less than 10 people
upon previous registration and with a purchased exhibition ticket:
in Hungarian: HUF 3000 per group
in other languages: HUF 4000 per group

For groups of more than 10 people
upon previous registration and with a purchased exhibition ticket: HUF 300 per person
